Iplayco gains on two new Middle East orders for $2.2mln
Iplayco Corp (CVE:IPC) shares were rising Tuesday after the maker of children's play structures said it has signed two new sales agreements for a value of C$2.2 million total to design, manufacture and install large indoor play equipment for a customer in the Middle East.
This comes on top of C$1.2 million in orders from the Middle East last month, as well as C$1.6 million from Western Asia in April and three orders for C$1.9 million in February for more customers in the Middle East.
"We are very pleased to announce that we have entered into these two new sales agreements, which are expected to be substantially realized in our operating results over the six-month period ending December 31, 2014," said president and director Scott Forbes.
Iplayco, which ranked among the top 10 best performing companies in the diversified industries sector on the TSX Venture Exchange last year, has sold play structures to over 50 countries and to 16 different markets, including family entertainment centres, theme parks, shopping malls, restaurants, hospitals, zoos, churches and more. It also owns and operates a family entertainment centre, called The Great Escape, in Langley, British Columbia, where Iplayco is headquartered.
Iplayco grew sales by over 46% last year, while net income also rose substantially. The Langley, British Columbia-based company can attribute its overall success in 2013 to large orders from mall owners, especially in the Middle East, from where Iplayco received five $1 million plus orders, alongside an almost $2 million project from The Children's Museum in Las Vegas.
For the company's second fiscal quarter, or the three months to March 31, sales climbed 4.5% to $3.37 million from $3.22 million in the same period last year, as sales from its manufacturing operations advanced 6.8% to $2.9 million and sales from its family entertainment centre unit dropped 9.2% $0.4 million.
Iplayco also predicted at the time of its second quarter results release a significant rise in sales and earnings in the current quarter due to a strong sales backlog.
The company, which sees its strong growth tide continuing as it looks to expand to the BRIC nations, has seen its share price more than double in the last 12 months. Its stock is up 50% since the beginning of the year, and is trading today at 90 Canadian cents, up 3.45%. It has a 52-week high of 95 cents. Reported by Proactive Investors 2 hours ago.

'Hidden Cash' Guy Is Really Real Estate Investor Jason Buzi
The anonymous man behind the 'Hidden Cash' phenomenon revealed his identity Monday night on Anderson Cooper 360.
Jason Buzi, a real estate investor and developer from Palo Alto, was outed by Inside Edition on Friday by a voice analysis expert. However, the AC360 interview was Buzi's first acknowledgement of his true identity.

— Anderson Cooper 360° (@AC360) June 10, 2014
For the past three weeks, Buzi and his team have hidden nearly $15,000 in small sums around California cities and tweeted clues about their locations. The campaign grew into a social media phenomenon, with thousands of people participating in the viral scavenger hunt.
Buzi used the AC360 interview as an opportunity to announce some big expansion plans: Hidden Cash will hit cities across the U.S., Europe, and Mexico.
BIG NEWS:Coming to NYC (Manhattan + Brooklyn!), Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas and Mexico City all this weekend! Europe soon!Local media?Email!
— Hidden Cash (@HiddenCash) June 10, 2014
"It just kind of exploded," Buzi told Cooper. He attributed Hidden Cash's success not so much to the sum of money he's given out, but rather to "the thrill of the search."
"[It gets people] out of their living room or away from their phone and out there doing things with their friends, kids or families, said Buzi. "I think there's something very powerful about that."
On his personal website, Buzi wrote that he "likes to help those who are less fortunate, and has volunteered locally with refugee families and tutoring in East Palo Alto, and helped to establish libraries in Africa and taught English in Taiwan."
Buzi didn't respond to a request for comment Tuesday. But before he revealed his identity, he previously told The Huffington Post that he's been inundated with requests for financial help.
"Hidden Cash is not going to save you, the lottery is not going to save you," Buzi told HuffPost. "Be smart and responsible and research all the ways to make money that are out there."
Buzi told Cooper that Hidden Cash will come to New York, Houston, Chicago, Las Vegas and Mexico City. He will also hide money in London, Paris and Madrid by the first week of July.
"We just want to encourage people to pay it forward," he said. Reported by Huffington Post 2 hours ago.

Speed Painter Tim Decker Amazes at Event Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel
A renowned speed painter recently performed at an event hosted by one of entertainment’s hottest stars.
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) June 10, 2014
Renowned speed painter Tim Decker (http://timdecker.com) recently performed at a charity event hosted by Late Night Host, Jimmy Kimmel. The event was held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas and was a tremendous success for the Dave Rice Foundation.
“It was truly a fun experience,” said Decker, a worldwide touring speed painter, who paints celebrity portraits on oversized canvases in a matter of minutes. “I love what I do and it was a blast to perform at this event hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.”
During the event, Decker performed two live paintings, which were then auctioned, raising $15,000 for the Dave Rice Foundation.
After the performance pieces were auctioned, Jimmy Kimmel was brought back on stage where a portrait Decker pre-painted of him was unveiled and put up for auction. Kimmel joked that only a stalker would want his painting and continued to outbid himself until he eventually purchased the piece for $10,000.
Jimmy then gifted the painting to his Aunt Chippy, who is well known by fans of the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show.
In total, an astounding $25,000 was raised from the speed paintings, all of which will benefit the Dave Rice Foundation.
The Dave Rice Foundation is a non-profit, tax exempt organization dedicated to the education and support of health initiatives including developmental disorders such as Autism, and other charitable causes.
The Foundation was established in 2012 by UNLV Runnin Rebels Head Basketball Coach Dave Rice and his wife Mindy.

About Tim Decker
Tim grew up in Brodheadsville, a small town in Eastern Pennsylvania and studied Media Communications at East Stroudsburg University. Decker never expressed much interest in art, only taking two art classes to fill his college schedule with less demanding classes.
Then in 2009, Decker woke one morning after having a dream that would change the course of his life. Tim dreamed that he was speed painting on a beach boardwalk, though he had never heard of speed painting up until that point. He woke that morning, bought a gallon of paint, and painted his first portrait, none other than Mr. T. Thus began his journey.
