LAS VEGAS, Nevada, Dec. 19, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Luxury gaming manufacturer and electronic table game (ETG) market leader Interblock® announced that Resorts World Casino New York City (RWNY) offers North America’s largest ETG footprint within one casino. MBUX Marks the Spot: Mercedes-Benz to Roll Out Its Next-Gen Infotainment System at CES

Mercedes-Benz will debut its latest infotainment system at the CES electronics show in Las Vegas in January. The new infotainment system, to be named Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX), will begin appearing in Mercedes vehicles next year.

It won’t be limited to the most expensive Mercedes products, either. The three-pointed-star brand confirmed that the improved infotainment system will come standard on the forthcoming entry-level A-class sedan. While Mercedes is remaining tight-lipped about the details surrounding the new system, the company did release images of the new A-class interior showing the subcompact sedan will supplant the system’s usual control knob with a large touchpad. Currently, Mercedes limits infotainment inputs to a central control knob or an available touchpad that sits atop the standard control knob. We’ve heard that a touchscreen is a possibility as well.

While Mercedes would confirm only the new infotainment system’s arrival in the A-class, interior images of the hydrogen-powered GLC F-Cell compact crossover show a display screen and touchpad that are similar to those in the upcoming subcompact sedan. Needless to say, we anticipate that both the updated C-class and GLC-class will adopt the MBUX system, too, before the turn of the decade.

Terrible Herbst Leverages Gilbarco’s Impulse™ Platform for Children’s Toy Drive

GREENSBORO, N.C., Dec. 19, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Terrible Herbst used Gilbarco’s Impulse countertop merchandising platform to help achieve a record-setting donation to the19th Annual 98.5 KLUC Chet Buchanan Show Toy Drive in Las Vegas. The drive started November 30 and ended December 11, 2017.With the help of Gilbarco’s Impulse and Passport^® Point-of-Sale system, donations increased 6.5 percent over 2016 levels for a total of $49,000. Wendover Gaming LLC Investor Group acquires the Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino and the Red Garter Hotel & Casino

LAS VEGAS (PRWEB) December 20, 2017

Wendover Resorts today announced the sale of the Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino and the Red Garter Hotel & Casino (”Wendover Casinos”) to Wendover Gaming LLC (”Wendover Gaming”), a newly-formed entity representing an investor group led by Eric Persson and Justin Beltram through their entity 888Gaming LLC.

The transaction also includes the sale of Utah Trailways, a bus company that transports customers daily from Salt Lake City to the casino properties in Wendover, and the sale of additional parcels of land associated with the Wendover Casinos.

Speaking on behalf of the buyer group that purchased the Wendover Casinos, Eric Persson, a Manager of Wendover Gaming, said, "we are very excited to own these assets, and look forward to growing this market."

In addition to being the majority owner of 888Gaming, Eric Persson is also the President and COO of Aruze Gaming America, Inc. (“Aruze”), a leading slot machine manufacturer that designs, develops, and manufacturers slot machines and gaming devices for the global casino market. The two Wendover Casinos are being sold by the Ensign family and its affiliated entities Generation 2000 LLC and G2010 LLC, DBA “Wendover Resorts”.

Wendover is the closest casino market to Salt Lake City, with direct access via I-80. The Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino has 489 hotel rooms and 1,057 total gaming positions. The Red Garter Hotel & Casino has 183 hotel rooms and 652 total gaming positions. The Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino was originally acquired by Wendover Resorts in 2002 and the Red Garter Hotel & Casino was acquired by Wendover Resorts in 2010.
