Kathy Rucinsky, a healthcare learning and development expert, has been appointed Principal Consultant for Healthcare on Intrepid Learning’s Professional Services Team. Rucinsky brings more than twenty-five years of learning and development expertise in the health insurance industry to her work at Intrepid Learning. From pioneering initiatives in corporate universities, orientation, and employee onboarding to building workforce capability to meet strategic business goals, Rucinsky has spearheaded and executed learning initiatives across Information Technology, Operations, Compliance, and other organizational business functions.
Rucinsky has received numerous awards from industry leading organizations, including ASTD, Corporate University Xchange, and IQPC. She holds certifications in Distance Education and Web Development, and earned her MS in Computer Science from Shippensburg University and BS in Mathematics Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Concurrent with Rucinsky’s appointment, Intrepid Learning has joined America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) as an affiliate member. Rucinsky will be co-presenting the session “Driving Business Through Improved Employee Performance” at the AHIP Institute 2013 conference Transforming Our Health Care System: Navigating and Succeeding in the New Marketplace held in Las Vegas, Nevada from June 12-14.
AHIP Affiliate Membership provides Intrepid Learning with opportunities to collaborate with AHIP member organizations around their integrated health insurance learning solution. Intrepid Learning’s industry-leading solution includes services such as diagnostic assessments to compare organizations against industry best practices, a competency framework which defines exemplar performance for key employee roles, an employment assessment toolkit, and Intrepid AgileTM Tools which integrate learning with everyday employee work environments.
