The Cincinnati-based HR technology company is expanding its team to keep pace with a rapidly growing client base.
Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) October 01, 2014
Organizations are changing the way they think about HR and employee engagement. New tools and technology are accelerating the move toward progressive, employee-focused human resources strategies. HR technology startup BlackbookHR is creating solutions that help organizations transform employee engagement. To keep up with demand and continue to grow, the company has hired two new leaders: Hank Johnson, vice president of sales and Revae Embs, customer success manager.
Hank Johnson has more than 30 years of leadership experience in HR and business operations. He’s held leadership roles at Towers Watson, Accenture, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Darden Restaurants, NationsBank Trust (now Bank of America) and Tiffany & Co. He brings a deep knowledge of talent management and human resources. Throughout his career, Johnson has focused on improving and transforming HR processes. In his new role as head of sales at BlackbookHR, he will help customers address pressing talent and business issues such as: Are our people engaged and committed to achieving organizational goals? What data are we collecting about our people? How can we better use that data to make informed, proactive decisions?
“Hank is an excellent fit for our team because he’s focused on helping people and organizations thrive,” says BlackbookHR CEO Chris Powell. “As we continue to help shape the next generation of employee engagement, Hank brings diversity of experience and a unique understanding of the challenges client face as they work to improve employee engagement and business outcomes.”
Revae Embs is joining the BlackbookHR team as customer success manager. In her new role, she’ll be focused on helping customers successfully transform their employee engagement strategies using BlackbookHR products. She has experience working as an HR practitioner at The Christ Hospital Health Network, where she managed talent acquisition, employee relations, and training and development. She serves on a program advisory committee for Brown Mackie College and is a member of SHRM. Revae has a BS in human resource management and an MBA, both from Franklin University.
“As our organization has grown and we’ve expanded our client roster, we realized that we wanted to create a role that was 100 percent focused on helping customers succeed,” says Chris Ostoich, BlackbookHR Founder and CIO. “Revae is the perfect person for this role. She’s been in our customers’ shoes before, and she’s dedicated to helping them find solutions.”
The BlackbookHR team will be sharing their newest employee engagement tools and technology at the industry’s HR Technology Conference next week in Las Vegas.
