Todd English, world-renowned chef, restaurateur, author, entrepreneur and television personality, joins Macy’s Passport Glamorama Fashion Rocks® event in Los Angeles on September 9th, 2014, as celebrity guest chef. As a member of Macy’s Culinary Council, Chef English comes together with Macy’s in raising over $44 million to help fight childhood illness, cancer and HIV/AIDS.
Chef Todd English has inspired an exclusive menu for the evening’s events, which include performances by highly acclaimed DJ Paul Oakenfold and top-selling artist Jason Derulo. The event will benefit the AIDS Project Los Angeles, one of the largest non-profit AIDS service organizations in the United States, providing bilingual direct care and treatment services to people living with HIV/AIDS in L.A. and leadership on HIV/AIDS-related policy and legislation.
Known for his long history of philanthropic commitment, Chef English’s appearance at Macy’s Los Angeles event is the first of several taking place this fall and holiday season. In addition to his work benefitting HIV/AIDS, Chef English continues to be involved with local and national charities including Citymeals-on-wheels, Share Our Strength, Men with Heart, Men Against Breast Cancer, the Boys and Girls Clubs, Volunteers of America, Autism Speaks, and City Harvest.
