A man headed to Las Vegas was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport Friday for allegedly fondling a female passenger as she slept on their flight.

Thami Drissi, 45, an engineer for Cisco Systems boarded the Royal Air Maroc flight in Casablanca.

A female passenger sitting next to Drissi claimed she woke up to his hand inside her blouse. She said he was attempting to place his hands inside the front of her pants, Federal Air Marshal Lynn Lauzier wrote in a complaint filed in Brooklyn Federal Court.

The victim was “visibly upset and crying” when she reported the incident to flight attendants, the New York Daily News reported.

Drissi told federal agents he only touched the woman to move her head because she fell asleep on his shoulder.

The father-of-two reportedly wept and covered his face when Magistrate Marilyn Go order him jailed until his brother travels to the U.S. next week to post bail.

Last month an American man was arrested for allegedly fondling a sleeping woman on a Delta Air Lines flight from Detroit to Amsterdam in 2012. Janarol Dickens, 32, was charged with engaging in abusive sexual contact when he returned to the U.S. in July 2014.
