The National Pawnbrokers Association has named Bob Frimet of RMF Consulting Group, Inc. the Industry Partner of the Year. The award was presented at the Annual Awards Luncheon at Pawn Expo 2014, hosted at The Mirage, Las Vegas.
Mr. Frimet was honored for his relentless efforts over the years to educate members of the pawn industry on compliance responsibilities. He has provided compliance training and seminars at Pawn Expo for nine years and regularly contributes to National Pawnbroker Magazine.
“He is there whenever called upon and always ready to lend a professional, experienced hand,” said Ben Levinson, president of the National Pawnbrokers Association. “He is the unsung hero in our industry.”
The NPA Industry Partner of the Year Award is presented annually to an NPA Industry Partner who, through its performance, has made a significant contribution nationally to the pawnbroking industry.
