LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A family member says former UNLV basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian is being treated for pneumonia and a possible heart attack at a Las Vegas hospital.Tarkanians son-in-law, Zafi Diamant, said Friday that the 83-year-old Tarkanians condition was "definitely stable," and that he was awake and talking at Valley Hospital.Tarkanian was hospitalized Wednesday with weakness, breathing trouble and lethargy.Diamant says more tests will determine Tarkanians ailments.Tarkanian attended the Final Four last weekend in Arlington, Texas.As a coach, he took three schools to the NCAA tournament, but is best known for his UNLV teams that made four Final Four appearances and won it all in 1990.Tarkanian won 784 games in his career, including 509 at UNLV.Hes an inductee of the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame.
