LOGAN, Utah (ABC 4 Sports) - Jarred Shaw scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Kyle Davis scored 11 and had 14 boards to lead Utah State past Wyoming 65-54 Wednesday night.

Spencer Butterfield added 12 points for the Aggies (17-13, 7-11 Mountain West Conference). Wyoming (17-13, 8-9 MWC) was paced by Josh Adams with 21 points and Nathan Sobey with 14.

Wyoming burst out of a 29-26 halftime lead on a fast-paced 7-2 run to open the second half, but two quick jumpers each by Shaw and Butterfield gave USU the lead back, 38-36, with 14:32 to play. The Aggies took a 58-50 lead with 3:18 to play when Preston Medlin hit a 3-point shot. USU then dropped in 7-of-8 free throws in the final two minutes as Wyoming fouled to gain possession.

The win ended the regular season for USU, which will next play at the Mountain West Conference Tournament in Las Vegas next week. Reported by abc4 7 hours ago.
