Tampa-based EFEX Group will produce commemorative newsstand publications and other licensing opportunities for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Emmy© Awards shows.

Tampa, Fla. (PRWEB) March 05, 2014

EFEX Group is proud to announce it has entered into an exclusive multi-year agreement with the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) to market and produce collectible publications for NATAS’s national awards shows. Each year, NATAS delivers the industry standard with its presentation of Emmy© Awards at separate shows for Daytime Entertainment, Daytime Creative Arts & Entertainment, News and Documentary, Sports, and Technology and Engineering. EFEX Group is now the official publisher of souvenir books for all the NATAS awards, a designation it also holds with the Recording Academy’s GRAMMY© Awards.
“We have a long track record of creating unique licensed marketing opportunities for some of the most iconic sports and entertainment brands in the world,” said EFEX Group President Kristian Krempel. “The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is synonymous with achievement and excellence, and we’re excited to leverage our expertise to bring those brand assets to an ever wider corporate and consumer audience.”

In addition to serving as the awards-show programs, the 200+-page, commemorative publications will be sold nationally at outlets that could include Barnes & Noble, Wal-Mart, Target, Books-A-Million and HMS Host airport stores, as well as numerous on-line sites.

“Our relationship with EFEX Group will enable The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences to bring its Emmy brand to a wider market,” said Malachy Wienges, Chairman of NATAS. “That’s important because NATAS wants to share its rich history with its audience. As we look to the future, we want to both honor our heritage and expand our brand.”

The first of this year’s NATAS awards were the Technical and Engineering Emmy Awards held January 9th at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. The next NATAS event will be the Sports Emmy© Awards Ceremony, to be held on May 6th, at Lincoln Center in New York City. NATAS has also announced that the 35th Annual News and Documentary Emmy© Awards Ceremony will be held September 30th, also at Lincoln Center in New York City. NATAS has yet to announce dates and venues for its other major national awards ceremonies.

In addition to its publishing expertise, EFEX Group has a two-decade history of creating, managing and marketing events and licensing opportunities for top sports and entertainment governing bodies, including the Recording Academy’s GRAMMY© Awards, Pro Football and NASCAR halls of fame, the NFL Alumni, PGA and Senior PGA tours, America’s Cup and ESPN.
