This is Plymouth -- THE NEW Nissan Qashqai was the big winner at a casino night held to celebrate its launch by Vospers. More than 75 people came along to try their luck at the casino event which saw the dealership's showroom at Marsh Mills motor park transformed into a mini Las Vegas. Professional croupiers were on hand to man a craps table, roulette wheel and blackjack tables. But despite the glamour and gaming, the real star of the show was the British-built all-new Qashqai – What Car? magazine's Car of the Year 2014. Guests took time to explore and admire the new model's form and the dealership banked an impressive number of sales on the night. Adam Preston, sales manager at Vospers Nissan, said: "The launch of the new Qashqai is probably our most important ever and so we wanted to celebrate its arrival in style. "We were delighted so many local motorists and customers came along to join in the fun and I know they were delighted to get a chance to see the car in the metal for the first time and take it for a test drive. "Some of them had been waiting a long time to get behind the wheel." He added: "Attracting dozens on people to a car showroom on a wet Monday evening is no mean feat these days and the fact that so many people attended our event is testament to the quality and appeal of the new Qashqai. "We've been staggered by the level of interest in the car."
