Before embarking to Sochi, Russia, for the 2014 Winter Olympics, the women’s curling team recently named Team USA competes at the Continental Cup in Las Vegas January 16-19.
Docucopies.com has proudly sponsored Team Erika Brown for the last year, beginning at the 2013 World Women’s Curling Championship and continuing through the fall season. Their sponsorship continues through this event, which will be the last event Team Erika Brown attends before donning the name Team USA at the Olympics.
The Continental Cup, started in 2002, was started to generate greater worldwide interest in the sport. This year the event will be broadcasted on NBC Sports Network.
“Hopefully this event sparks even more interest in curling, and particularly interest in these women who will be representing the United States at the Olympics,” says Jeff Corbo, marketing director and vice president at Docucopies.com. “We wish them the best and look forward to seeing their skills on the ice.”
