The $5,000 award, announced during HIMSS18, will help Get Real Health with patient testing of its new Ellie care management product.

ROCKVILLE, Md. (PRWEB) March 13, 2018

Get Real Health has been selected as the winner of the “Flip the Patient” Challenge by the Personal Connected Health Alliance (PCHAlliance), a HIMSS organization, and WEGO Health (a PCHAlliance member organization), which is the world’s largest network of patient leaders. The award was announced in the PCHAlliance Connected Health Experience during the 2018 HIMSS Global Conference & Exhibition in Las Vegas.

The PCHAlliance and WEGO Health created the “Flip the Patient” Challenge to encourage innovators to collaborate with patient leaders on the design, development and deployment of their solutions. PCHAlliance and HIMSS Corporate members, which represent a diverse cross section of connected health and health IT companies, were invited to submit proposals that demonstrated a novel approach to working with patient experts on an aspect of technology design, development and deployment.

“We are truly thrilled to win this first-ever ‘Flip the Patient’ Challenge,” said Get Real Health CEO and Founding Partner Robin Wiener. “Innovation in patient engagement and connected health is our whole reason for being in business, and we’re especially elated to have our recent entrance into the world of care management recognized.”

Get Real Health was chosen as the winner of the challenge by an independent committee comprised of select PCHAlliance leaders and members of WEGO Health’s patient advisory board. Get Real Health receives a monetary award of $5,000, which will be used for consulting services provided by patient subject matter experts who are active in WEGO Health’s patient leader community. WEGO Health’s experts are drawn from its network of patient leaders, which include more than 125,000 patient advocates and influencers managing chronic, complex and rare conditions.

Get Real Health plans to collaborate with an advisory board of WEGO Health’s patient experts in the design and development of its Ellie care management product, which links patients and care managers in a collaborative and meaningful personal care relationship. In addition to gathering insights, a panel of WEGO Health patient experts will provide Get Real Health with user feedback to support design sprints and iterative product development.

“This award enables us to put WEGO’s patient experts at the center of our user study,” said Wiener. “We look forward to getting to know the needs and usage patterns of patients who work with care managers, so Ellie can truly make a difference in the world. We want to know which tools these patients need, what they expect from their care managers, and how they prefer to manage their health. Thanks to the ‘Flip the Patient’ Challenge, we will be able to hear the struggles, goals and joys of the patients we seek to serve.”

Update: Hemp, Inc. Signs Lucrative Consultant Agreement With HQ Global Education, Inc.

SPRING HOPE, NC, March 13, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hemp, Inc. (OTC:HEMP) is pleased to announce that it has signed a consulting agreement with HQ Global Education, Inc. (OTC:HQGE), a scientific research development company, to provide consulting services in an effort to help HQ Global Education, Inc. expand into the hemp-CBD industry.  According to the agreement, HQGE will receive professional, ongoing, consulting services in the hemp-CBD market, specifically in the areas of growing high quality organically-grown CBD-rich hemp, harvesting, extracting and creating a variety of high-end CBD products for its business and partnerships in the industry.

Bruce Perlowin, CEO of Hemp, Inc. (OTC: HEMP) said, “This agreement with HQ Global Education, Inc. is a natural fit for both our companies and the timing couldn’t be better. The hemp industry is projected to grow 700% and hit $1.8 billion by 2020.” This statistic includes the all-natural, non-psychoactive supplement cannabidiol (CBD) that is derived from the industrial hemp plant. Cannabidiol helps boost both human and animal endocannabinoid systems. With CBDs taking America by storm due to its medicinal and health benefits, HQ Global Education, Inc. executives feel this is the perfect time to enter the market.  The enormous growth potential of the CBD market will provide HQ Global Education, Inc. with a pipeline of opportunities they can take advantage of by using their extensive industry research and voluminous body of information on specific CBD combinations through their Educational and Extraction divisions.

CBD is one of the more than 85 cannabinoids so far identified in marijuana and hemp. Unlike the better-known compound tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD is not psychoactive, meaning it won’t cause a high. However, thousands of studies have demonstrated that CBD clearly possesses a potent array of therapeutic benefits, including antioxidant and neuroprotective properties.

CBD that is derived from hemp is legal to import and purchase in all 50 U.S. states, without a prescription. Additionally, cannabidiol itself isn’t listed in the Controlled Substances Act like THC and marijuana. With the recent influx in competition and a lack of regulation, consumers must educate themselves to ensure they are buying high-quality CBD. Hemp, Inc.’s NuAxon Tech CO2 Supercritical Extractor, housed in its 85,000 square-foot multi-purpose industrial hemp processing facility, in Spring Hope, North Carolina, utilizes a super extraction process to extract the purest, healthiest oils.

The overall plan from this signed consultant agreement is to eventually joint venture with HQ Global Education, Inc.  whereby Hemp, Inc. will house and operate a HQ Global Education, Inc. CBD extractor in its 85,000-square foot facility. Now that Hemp, Inc. has created its Industrial Hemp Manufacturing and Processing Infrastructure (Division One), the company is now focusing its attention on its Hemp Oil Extraction Infrastructure (Division 2), thus creating a perfect time window for the two companies to combine their strengths and assets.

“Hemp, Inc.’s Division One is up and running strong.   We are producing and selling Spill-Be-Gone, fiber, and LCMs and we have hundreds of thousands of pounds of LCMs in inventory on top of the millions of pounds of Kenaf that we are processing on a daily basis.  Going forward, we are now focused on building out the hemp CBD extraction infrastructure.  Our strategy is to build the world’s largest Hemp Oil Extraction Infrastructure by using multiple companies… the first of which is HQ Global Education, Inc.  (OTC: HQGE) We’re creating an infrastructure comprised of a network of joint ventures by housing HQGE’s future extractor at the largest multi-purpose industrial hemp processing facility in North America.  This allows the timeframe to manufacture and market CBD products to be greatly reduced and we expect to see product and revenues for HQ Global Education, Inc. in record-breaking time. With experts already on hand, this makes perfect sense to benefit all of our stakeholders involved.” said Perlowin.

Hemp, Inc.’s five key infrastructure divisions, through which steps have been taken thus far, are:

Industrial Hemp Manufacturing and Processing Infrastructure – Division One
Hemp Oil Extraction Infrastructure – Division Two
Hemp Farming Infrastructure – Division Three
Hemp Education Infrastructure – Division Four
Marketing Infrastructure – Division Five

“We continue to drive home to our shareholders that we have very lucid infrastructure divisions in action. While always adhering to our discipline on transparency with our shareholders and the public, we are resolutely committed to these infrastructure divisions,” said Perlowin. “We believe these first core infrastructure divisions outline Hemp, Inc.’s operations and allow us to allocate time and capital strategically, to drive long-term shareholder value.”

Hemp, Inc. is one of the most respected, recognized leaders in the industrial hemp industry with the largest multi-purpose industrial hemp processing facility in the western hemisphere, and is an ideal partner for companies looking to forge new paths in the industrial hemp-CBD market.  What separates this joint venture from all other CBD producers/growers/extractors is the vast amount of scientific research and education HQ Global Education, Inc. will be doing on the CBD market. They are especially focused on the educational component. According to Perlowin, HQ Global Education, Inc. is in the final stages of building a library of all published scientific research done on CBDs and other cannabinoids from all over the world over the last 50 years.

“This type of thorough research allows them to custom design CBDs with different cannabinoid and terpene profiles based on the enormous amount of scientific research they’ve been compiling. In essence, we are positioning them to become a leading CBD producer,” says Perlowin.

Luis Proetta, CEO of HQGE added, "HQ Global Education is positioned to enter into the CBD arena very quickly. Working together with Hemp, Inc., will allow us to impact the marketplace even sooner than originally anticipated. With the completion of this agreement, we are confident that we have created a winning combination that will enable us to help lead the industry to realize the many medical and economic benefits of cannabinoids."

According to Perlowin, this venture follows a handful of earlier consultant agreements under which Hemp, Inc.’s wholly owned subsidiary, Industrial Hemp Manufacturing, LLC consulted with public companies looking to expand in the industrial hemp industry.  However, the joint venture announced today, and future joint ventures, is designed to provide companies with a keen focus on the industrial hemp and CBD industry, and to provide a world-class source of supply to meet the growing demand faster than would be possible through either company’s individual efforts.

After the media frenzy of Sessions’ decision to rescind the Cole Memo – a 2013 Department of Justice document – which increased some legal protections for businesses operating in states that allow and regulate cannabis sales, HQ Global Education, Inc. wanted to ensure the industrial hemp industry was a safe bet. And, indeed it is.

“Sessions’ decision to rescind  is an incredible opportunity for the hemp industry, because hemp is the safe bet,” a point Perlowin made in the recent Marijuana Business Daily article, Sessions’ Marijuana Antagonism Spooks Hemp Industry, But Some See Silver Lining.  “Hemp’s legal status has nothing to do with Sessions’ announcement.”  It’s important to note that hemp production “has been enshrined into law by Congress through the 2014 Farm Bill.”  This means “the Department of Justice can’t go after hemp growers or processors abiding by the terms of state hemp rules.”  It’s the “public’s perception” of hemp that was affected, not hemp’s legal status.  “Hemp’s inclusion in the 2014 Farm Bill means its legal status can’t be usurped by an agency memo.”  Hemp entrepreneurs “believe the industry could even capitalize on Sessions’ antagonism to marijuana” because “it underscores hemp’s legal certainty.”

Hemp, Inc. executives have been reinforcing that its company is a “safe bet” for investors.  Hemp is NOT marijuana.  Hemp, Inc.’s huge inventory of approximately 18,000,000 pounds of kenaf, plus approximately 2,000,000 pounds of kenaf to be harvested early this year, has created a well-established supply chain and will not be affected by any potential marijuana pushback by the federal government.

Sessions’ obsession with marijuana may have put a temporary damper on the marijuana/THC marketplace, but hemp, from which you can extract CBDs, is a safe haven from any potential federal pushback.  HQGE corporate executives are being more scientific and specific in their approach and are narrowing in on specific conditions.  “While Hemp, Inc. has done very lucrative contracts in the past (2014) we have now become much more discerning in who we will work with and HQGE meets all our criteria,” says Perlowin.

As Hemp, Inc. provides consulting services in the hemp-CBD market, specifically in the areas of growing high-quality organically-grown CBD rich hemp, harvesting, and extracting, executives say they will also build Veteran Village Kins Communities across the country.  “Our ‘Veteran Village Kins Communities’ is where we will not only grow some of our Hemp, it is a full-blown holistic solution to the multifaceted veteran problems in the USA. Our prototype model is in Arizona about 20 miles north of Kingman and 90 miles from Las Vegas, NV. It's our way of saying, ‘Thank You’ to our Veterans.”

Hemp, Inc. Announces Strategic Hemp Growing Partner "Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc." Completes Final Site Plan Blueprints

Hemp, Inc. has announced that its strategic growing partner, "Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.," has completed its final site plan blueprints for its 500-acre site in Golden Valley, Arizona (20 miles north of Kingman, AZ and 90 minutes from Las Vegas, NV). The site plan was submitted to the Mohave County Building Department for final review. The Company is also in the final stages of completing the necessary infrastructure to support an off-grid, renewable, energy system. The remainder of the solar equipment is expected to arrive in the next few days, completing the site's solar power operation.

Dwight Jory, the Project Manager for the "Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.," said, "We are very happy with the progress. Our Kins Community is really beginning to come together." In anticipation of planting to begin during the spring, 300 acres have been fenced, 16 overnight trailer park sites are under construction, and six 40x40-ft organic vegetable gardens are ready for seasonal planting, according to Jory. As for the 6 geodesic domes mentioned in an earlier press release, 1 is structurally complete with only the electrical and plumbing to be completed. The rest are on site awaiting final site plan approval. "We are now accepting volunteers who have expressed an interest in helping to build the first Kins Community for our veterans," said Jory. Those interested in making the first hemp growing CBD-producing "Veteran Village Kins Community" become a reality should contact Ms. Sandra Williams via email (swilliams@hempinc.com).

One thousand trees, on 36 of the 500-acres, have also been planted, with an additional 1,000 trees on order. The "Veteran Village Kins Community" site plan also includes a 100,000-square foot GMP compliant, central processing plant, CBD testing laboratory, and various health and wellness centers to support veterans who may have psychological, emotional or health issues.

Hemp, Inc. and "Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc." began development on the "Veteran-Village Kins Community in Arizona" approximately 6 years ago. Kins Communities are designed to grow hemp and produce cannabidiol (CBD) products to benefit veterans and to generate revenue for Hemp, Inc., the Veteran Village, and the individuals living on the land. Each 2.5-acre lot is designed to be self-sustainable, with 1 acre allocated to grow hemp and other areas for an organic garden, natural bee-hives, a living fence, a pond, a family tree and other elements that make up a "Kins Domain."

"As Hemp, Inc. positions itself on the forefront of America's industrial hemp revolution, we see our partnership with 'Veteran Village Kins Community Arizona, Inc.' being paramount in supporting the small family farm movement that we are confident will reshape the American landscape," said Perlowin. "As we work toward getting our eco-village up and running in Arizona, we are also aggressively scouting strategic locations in other states including North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia. Giving veterans and other Americans a place to learn new skills and take part in this multi-billion-dollar hemp CBD market is very exciting. It's a big part of our mission to give back."

According to Perlowin, seven "master hemp growers" from Oregon, Colorado, California, Kentucky, North Carolina, Nevada and, of course, Arizona have expressed an interest in pursuing a joint venture with Hemp, Inc. to each grow industrial hemp on the 300 fenced acres in Arizona. Perlowin says he'll call this "The Great United American Hemp Project."

*ABOUT HEMP, INC.*

With a deep-rooted social and environmental mission at its core, Hemp, Inc. seeks to build a business constituency for the American small farmer, the American veteran, and other groups experiencing the ever-increasing disparity between tapering income and soaring expenses. As a leader in the industrial hemp industry with ownership of the largest commercial multi-purpose industrial hemp processing facility in North America, Hemp, Inc. believes there can be tangible benefits reaped from adhering to a corporate social responsibility plan.

*WHAT IS HEMP?*

Hemp is a durable natural fiber that is grown as a renewable source for raw materials that can be incorporated into thousands of products. It's one of the oldest domesticated crops known to man. Hemp is used in nutritional food products for humans and animals, such as hemp seeds, hemp hearts and hemp proteins. It is also used in building materials, paper, textiles, cordage, organic body care and other nutraceuticals, just to name a few. It has thousands of other known uses. A hemp crop requires half the water alfalfa uses and can be grown without the heavy use of pesticides. Farmers worldwide grow hemp commercially for fiber, seed, and oil for use in a variety of industrial and consumer products. The United States is the only developed nation that fails to cultivate industrial hemp as an economic crop on a large scale, according to the Congressional Resource Service. However, with rapidly changing laws and more states gravitating towards industrial hemp and passing an industrial hemp bill, that could change quickly. Currently, the majority of hemp sold in the United States is imported from China and Canada, the world's largest exporters of the industrial hemp crop.

*HOW HEMP CAN CHANGE THE WORLD*

Fuel - While the industrial, medicinal and commercial properties of hemp have been known to mankind for a very long time, its benefits to the environment have just been realized in recent years. One of the compelling things hemp offers is a ready and affordable supply of fuel. Reserves of petroleum are being depleted at an alarming rate, and the U.S. is depleting our reserves of petroleum and buying it up from other countries. What we need is a fuel source which is reusable and which we can grow right here, making us completely energy independent.

Industries in search of sustainable and eco-friendly processes are realizing hemp as a viable option. Hemp can provide an alternative, more efficient source of energy for the fuel industry. "The woody hemp plant is low in moisture; it dries quickly and is an efficient biomass source of methanol. The waste products produced by using hemp oil are a good source of ethanol. Both methanol and ethanol are produced from hemp through the efficient and economical process of thermo-chemical conversion. One acre of hemp yields 1,000 gallons or 3,785 liters of fuel. Hemp allows a lesser reliance on fossil fuels, which are non-renewable sources of energy and will not be able to meet the increasing global demands for long."

Petroleum fuel increases carbon monoxide in the atmosphere and contributes heavily to global warming and the greenhouse effect, which could lead to global catastrophe in the next 50 years if these trends continue. Do you want to find out if they are right, or do you want to grow the most cost-effective and environmentally safe fuel source on the planet? Using hemp as an energy and rotation crop would be a great step in the right direction.

*HEMP, INC.'S NORTH CAROLINA INDUSTRIAL HEMP HUB*

Hemp, Inc.'s 85,000 square foot industrial hemp processing facility, on over 9 acres in Spring Hope, North Carolina, is the only one of this magnitude in North America. It is on its way to becoming a mecca of America’s new clean green agricultural and industrial revolution. Based on a variety of factors, Perlowin believes North Carolina is strategically positioned to be the largest hemp producing state in America by 2018. However, Kentucky and West Virginia will soon join this industrial hemp hub, followed by Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Georgia. Most of these states were historically considered the hemp hub of America and will be again this time next year.

*THE HEMP UNIVERSITY*

The Hemp University has been established to be the blueprint for farming, navigating and thriving in the industrial hemp revolution. Classes will cover such topics as planting and harvesting schedules, soil temperature, conditions and amendments, proper PH watering, the different life cycles and stages of the hemp plant, cloning, flowering, seed production, greenhouse growing, converting chicken houses to grow rooms, indoor lighting requirements, a big FOCUS ON BRINGING BACK THE SMALL FAMILY FARM TO THE AMERICAN LANDSCAPE, organic certification, licensing fees, what's happening with industrial hemp in different states around America, high CBD strains and different CBD extraction technologies (which will also be installed and showcased at Hemp, Inc.'s processing facility) and marketability of the crop. The seminars started in March of last year. The next seminar will be Saturday, March 10, 2018.

The goal is to educate its attendees on key topics such as transitioning from traditional farming to organic farming, different hemp cultivar strains, how and where to get certified seeds, planting and harvesting industrial hemp, an in-depth history of hemp and its many uses, agronomy, permaculture, ecological advantages and many more courses with an ever-expanding curriculum. Hemp, Inc. (OTC PINK: HEMP) has been securing an outstanding lineup of experts from at least a dozen states all over the country, including New York, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Nevada, Colorado, Oregon, Kentucky, Illinois and more for the 2018 season.

Hemp retail products from all around the country will be showcased at The Hemp University. Attendees will also be able to connect with potential industrial hemp distributors and product manufacturers. Our new "Hemp Hub" will be a one-stop shop for every aspect of industrial hemp from seed and soil to sale, providing as many resources as possible to our American farmers and landowners to successfully grow hemp and have sales channels for the potential 25,000 products our hemp industry can produce, once again with a big FOCUS ON BRINGING BACK THE SMALL FAMILY FARM TO THE AMERICAN LANDSCAPE.

"The Hemp University vision is simple. We accompany you on developing your strategic objectives all the way to successful and sustainable implementation, regardless of whether you are new to the hemp industry or just want to enhance your existing product range. We support you during set-up at all stages over the life of the company and assist in the handling of important operational processes," concluded Rainbolt.

For those interested in attending, teaching, touring the hemp field and hemp processing facility or showcasing your company's hemp products, at The Hemp University, contact Rick Rainbolt via phone or text at (704) 965-8935 for additional information.

AI is improving customer service experiences — here’s how

$
0
0
AI is improving customer service experiences — here’s how Enhancing customer experiences continues to be a major priority for businesses, as only 36% of contact centers are currently able to track a customer journey that spans multiple channels.^[1] And the stakes are high — 70% of consumers say they prefer messaging over calling customer support. Yet of the 270 billion service calls made annually, 50% of first calls go unresolved.^[2]

Fortunately, companies like Autodesk are using technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) to make poor customer service a thing of the past.

Autodesk employs a staff of 350 internal and external customer support agents who manage more than 1 million customer and partner interactions every year. Roughly half of those questions are simple customer queries that can easily be identified and answered — such as code requests, changes of address, contract problems, technical issues, activation code requests, and so on. Unfortunately, every time a customer service agent spends time helping one customer with a simple task, another customer must wait for them to finish that task in order to receive service.

With the AI capabilities of IBM Watson conversational technologies, Autodesk is automating the resolution of simpler tasks, freeing up customer service staff to focus on more complex questions. Autodesk used Watson to build their own Autodesk Virtual Agent (AVA) to quickly identify and answer their most common customer queries — all day, every day. AVA recognizes the intent behind customer queries with Watson’s natural language capabilities, uses keywords and phrases to parse the conversation’s context, and returns high-confidence answers quickly and effectively. Since implementing AVA, Autodesk has increased their response time by 99% while increasing customer satisfaction 10 points. That means they’ve reduced their average response time from 38 hours to just 5.4 minutes for most inquiries.

For every future customer interaction, AVA will essentially be the first stop. Since AVA has been trained extensively on Autodesk’s consolidated body of knowledge, AVA can easily recognize different types of customer queries and either provide an answer or redirect the question to customer service staff. AVA’s original catalog of knowledge came from chat logs, use cases, and forum posts. But as of today, AVA has analyzed more than 14 million sentences for keywords, entities, phrases, clusters, and other telling speech and language patterns.

As it operates, AVA will continue to process conversations and expand its understanding of the nuance, meaning, and context associated with its customers’ queries. That’s the beauty of AI — it never stops learning. Over time, AVA will become more and more capable of handling different customer questions by drawing from the expertise of an ever-growing number of internal resources.

These days, we have near-immediate access to just about anything we could want, but useful help has always been a bit more elusive. Finally, with the AI capabilities of Watson, Autodesk is helping to change the way companies answer our most pressing questions.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. AI is actively changing the world in so many ways right now. At Think 2018, you’ll have the chance to talk directly with AI specialists about these capabilities and so much more.

TWENTY FOUR SEVEN HOTELS EXPANDS SOUTHWEST HOTEL MANAGEMENT FOOTPRINT WITH FAIRFIELD INN LAS VEGAS AIRPORT

Newport Beach, CA, March 13, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

Twenty Four Seven Hotels, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has attained a new contract for management services in Las Vegas, Nevada. New to the Twenty Four Seven list of managed hotels is the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Las Vegas Airport, bringing their overall Marriott collection to thirteen managed hotels and adding 128 rooms to the company’s entire portfolio.

The property will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Umbrella Hotel Group and Ways Hospitality. Twenty Four Seven Hotels played a pivotal role providing guidance to the buyer on the transactional side with sourcing, underwriting and acquiring the hotel as a part of its service offering to clients.

"The addition of the Fairfield Inn hotel to our portfolio rounds out our expertise and representation of Marriott’s (CFRST) select-service brands. This increases our Marriott managed portfolio to thirteen and strengthens our collaborative relationship with the brand," said David Wani, chief executive officer of Twenty Four Seven Hotels. "We are strong advocates of the Fairfield Inn brand and believe it is one of the most viable franchise opportunities available to leverage from within Marriott's CFRST collection."

The Fairfield Inn is the third hotel in the Las Vegas market for Twenty Four Seven Hotels, currently operating a dual campus property just fifteen minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, which includes SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites Las Vegas Henderson. It also marks their fifth hotel in the Southwestern region of the United States.

With nearly 1000 square feet of meeting space, the hotel is frequently booked as an attractive, cost-effective, centrally located option for small business meetings away from the hustle and bustle of a casino environment. Some of the amenities of the bright, casual rooms include: free WiFi, desks, flat-screen TVs with premium cable channels, microwaves, mini refrigerators and coffeemakers. Upgraded rooms include pull-out sofas.

In addition, Twenty Four Seven Hotels leverages the Uber for Business platform to provide transportation as a favorable service over on-site shuttles and taxi services at all of its airport properties.

“Expanding our partnership with Twenty Four Seven Hotels in this market makes sense strategically” explains Ravi Gupta, from Ways Hospitality. “With their dedicated regional leadership team and proven revenue performance in the southwest, we stand to experience a seamless transition for this asset.”

Notable highlights of the market fueling the acquisition of the hotel include: the location is just two miles from the Las Vegas Strip, including the Fremont Street Experience; the 20,000-seat T-Mobile Arena; the addition of the National Hockey League's Las Vegas Golden Knights; and the National Football League's Las Vegas Raiders, along with the 65,000-seat NFL stadium, anticipated to be completed in time for the 2020 NFL season. The outlook for the market area is positive as the Southern Nevada economy remains largely dependent on the leisure and hospitality industry.

Adama Technologies to Bid on $3 Million in New Government Contracts This Month

LAS VEGAS, March 13, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Via OTC PR Wire -- Adama Technologies Corp. (OTCPINK:ADAC) announced today that they will bid on an additional $3,000,000 in new government contracts with at least $2,000,000 of that number being for US Military Defense contracts.  The Company detailed their month-of-March bidding plan and strategy and their optimism regarding their ability to win these contracts. Harold Tanner, President of Adama Technologies, stated, “Historically we have been very successful in winning these types of contracts simply because we have been building parts for military and defense contracts for a long, long time, over 50 years.  When we are bidding on these contracts, the people we are working with already know us and in many cases have awarded bids to us previously and have seen our work and our ability to perform.  Additionally, we have a great structure and system in place that allows us to keep our costs manageable and therefore our pricing on these contracts is always very competitive.”

The Company also pointed to several cost-cutting strategies that enable their price points to be what they believe are among the best in the country.  Mr. Tanner continued, “We have employed numerous strategies to ensure our prices are always among the best.  By having our own in-house engineering team, we have eliminated a very expensive line item that is often outsourced to a third-party firm.  We also have a very committed labor force who has tremendous experience with these parts so our efficiency and speed are truly remarkable.  Truthfully, there is no substitute for the fact we have been doing this for more than 50 years. Having recently become part of a publicly traded company I am thankful for the opportunity to tell our story to a broader audience.”

The Company reiterated a commitment to growth and continuing to be aggressive in pursuing new sales channels and additional defense contracts.  Mr. Tanner concluded, “We have reached the point within our management, growth, infrastructure and strategic planning where we feel very confident in our ability to scale the business and really be aggressive in bringing in additional contracts and new revenue.  Our team is doing an incredible job of streamlining operations, bringing on reliable subcontractors and phasing in additional third-party operators to allow us to grow at a much faster rate.”

The Company stated that they intend to keep the market readily updated via continued press updates as well as through the Company’s social media channels.  As the bidding process is underway, the Company will continue to seek additional revenue opportunities in their commercial and retail outlets as well and plan to provide a more robust media update regarding their commercial sales division in the upcoming weeks.

Radius8 Continues to Define the Retail Industry Standard for Meeting Consumer Expectations for Digitally Connected Store Experiences

PRINCETON, N.J. (PRWEB) March 14, 2018

Radius8, a breakout retail technology startup, today announced leading retailers and brands GUESS, Inc., John Varvatos Enterprises Inc,., and Zumiez Inc. have all selected its technology to create digitally connected store experiences. Radius8 is the pioneer of the new industry standard for store-centric online experiences and in-store experiences based on local digital demand, which have become table stakes to meet today’s high consumer expectations.

Launched at the inaugural 2016 Shoptalk, the world’s largest conference for retail and ecommerce innovation, Radius8 returns to Shoptalk next week as a Level 5 sponsor--consisting of the top 15 sponsors of more than 500 sponsoring and exhibiting companies.

Radius8 is led by Sandeep Bhanote, founder and chief executive officer, who previously founded Global Bay Mobile Technologies, which was acquired by Verifone in 2011.

Over the past two years, Radius8 has defined a new industry standard for digital engagement with brick and mortar by solving for gaps between consumer expectations and the realities of today’s retail engagement model. The company has grown rapidly with many established retailers and brands signing on for its groundbreaking solution in a short period of time.

“Retail is at a crossroads and 2018 will continue to separate the winners from the losers, with innovators relentlessly focused on creating experiences that seamlessly connect their physical and digital experiences to meet today’s uncompromising consumer expectations,” said Bhanote. “Consumers expect online experiences that engage them with their nearest store, as well as for store experiences to be digitally influenced by what’s relevant around the store.”

“Our customers engage with our brand at multiple touch points - in both physical and digital spaces - and to continue providing the experiences our customers expect requires new ways of thinking as well as innovative tools. Delivering digitally connected store-experiences, that consumers now expect, is central to Radius8’s mission” said Cathy Barnett, Vice President, Digital Sales and Marketing, Zumiez

Radius8’s presence at Shoptalk, which will take place on March 18-21 at the Venetian in Las Vegas, includes exhibiting as part of the Store of the Future Discovery Zone, with booth location number SF21.

About Radius8

Radius8 enables retailers to sell more to consumers by creating store-centric online experiences, and in-store experiences based on local digital demand. These experiences are now table stakes to meet today’s industry standards and consumer expectations and allow you to improve profitability by increasing consumer engagement. Radius8 can generally be implemented in less than 30 days regardless of a retailer’s technology stack, and without requiring changes in store associate behavior or investing in new infrastructure. Radius8 customers include GUESS, Inc., John Varvatos Enterprises Inc., and Zumiez Inc.

Radius8’s specific products include:

Local-Influenced Ecommerce

This product allows retailers to increase ecommerce sales by monetizing low-performing or non-revenue generating pages--such as store locator or store SEO pages--based on signals local to each store, such as location specific trends, weather, sporting events, store sales data, inventory and more.

Pre-Shop the Local Store Online

This product enables retailers to drive more store traffic by monetizing “intent to visit the store”. How? By enabling the customer to easily pre-shop their visit. Each store experience is unique because it is powered by signals local to each store such as location specific trends, weather, sporting events, store sales data, and inventory.

Insights and Analytics to Improve Store Experience

This product provides insights and actionable data for store management, planning/allocation and merchandising to create in-store experiences that reflect what the digital and mobile customers are doing around the radius of every store in every local market. Reported by PRWeb 7 hours ago.

A campaign celebrating the collective value of small gestures and extra effort

SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) March 14, 2018

Designing North Studios, a digital design house practicing user-centered design principles, known for their personal, detailed approach to crafting solutions for all kinds of digital projects, has launched a campaign celebrating the mindset that focusing on the small details can and does uplift humanity and may be effective in closing the divide many seem to feel at this moment in time.

For too many reasons, 2017 was a hard year on people, but in the end, humanity fought back: women marched, sports figures knelt, companies halted advertising, while others produced messages of hope and solidarity, some even ousted CEOs. People gave big, people gave small, people made their voices heard louder than ever and set the tone for 2018.

Feeling the shift from consciousness to action, Designing North Studios is introducing a year-long campaign titled #gohumanity2018, encouraging everyone to share good deeds, show perseverance, positivity, and thoughtfulness in the face of challenge, forgo the urge to respond to name calling or political confrontation, and do that little bit of ‘extra’ for all tasks, be them personal or professional, in the belief that they will literally ‘feel’ better.

Taking numerous forms on Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Medium, the campaign supports an important notion identified in the studio’s mindset: ‘small’ doesn’t receive the respect it deserves, and everyone has a little something extra to add to society, individually and collectively. As an inclusive campaign for discovery and collaboration, #gohumanity2018 encourages the sharing of visuals, conversations, articles and videos that move the soul, however small the act, as a reminder that everyone is in this together; everyone can and does contribute to humanity; everyone’s addition of small details builds one powerful feeling. Over the next twelve months, Designing North Studios will use #gohumanity2018 to bring awareness to our fundamental desire to connect with one another, and humanity at large, through shared experiences illustrating the power of small things. It’s a chance for ordinary people to see ‘small’ as absolutely meaningful to our big humanity picture without concern for being ‘extraordinary’ as the only way to affect change.

“They say that living a purposeful existence, where you stand for something, embrace empathy, and spend more time giving, however small, physiologically makes you 'feel better.’ So, you don't need to 'go big' to make a difference, small is just as powerful,” says Lisa Peacock, Designing North Studios Executive Creative Director. “Small doesn’t even need to be recognizable to make an impact. That is its beauty. But if we take a moment to highlight all the small deeds being done across the humanity spectrum, therein lies its collective power.”

The events of 2017 have positioned 2018 to be a year for recovery, growth, and even healing: humanitarian crises in Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Nigeria; North Korean missile testing over and over and over; ransomware, cyber attacks, fake news; the Ariana Grande bombing; the Paris attacks; Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria; earthquakes in Mexico, Iran; the Las Vegas Shooting, the Texas Church Shooting; wildfires scorching California from the North to the South; #MeToo; repeal of the Endangered Species Act; net neutrality; Times Up. Humanity is ready. Not only ready, but is already equipped with humans doing. Doing the small. And it’s time to take a look at that collective effort. So we can all ‘feel better.’

We have an inherent desire to believe, as humans, that we are unified on many fronts. Oprah touched on this notion so poignantly in her unforgettable 2017 Golden Globes speech:

“...say something about how men and women really behave. To say how we experience shame, how we love and how we rage, how we fail, how we retreat, persevere and how we overcome. I've interviewed and portrayed people who've withstood some of the ugliest things life can throw at you, but the one quality all of them seem to share is an ability to maintain hope for a brighter morning, even during our darkest nights.”

People everywhere are making a difference with small. Knowing those small details can get us all back to 'feeling better' after a challenging year. Feeling ready. Feeling humanity. #gohumanity2018

Designing North Studios is a small creative team that believes in the small details, *designing north* of what’s expected. They add that extra bit of special effort - a small hover above 100% - just north of good work. They celebrate small in everything because it often doesn’t get the respect it deserves. They take the time to handcraft experiences, know each customer personally, and care deeply about the details. The studio believes that everyone is designing north in some area of their life; in career, home, humility or humanity. So they help clients tap into that extra bit of passion, and bring the best of themselves to any project. Reported by PRWeb 7 hours ago.
